Billing Address Validate

The Billing Address Validate function checks the national database to determine whether a customer’s address is recognized, and if so, updates the address to the current format.

Customer Tools > Billing Address Validate.

  • To open Address Validation, click 'Billing Address Validate' on the Customer Tools menu.
  • If the Address is verified, the USPS Validated Address will be displayed in standard format. Click 'Use New Address' to update to the standard format, or 'Keep Original Address' to make no changes.
  • If the address is not verified, the 'Use New Address' option will not be available. Please check all fields to ensure that the recorded address is correct.
When creating a new account, the Billing Address Validate option appears on the 'New Account' menu under 'Validate Address'

  • Selecting 'Validate Address' will populate the same 'Address Verification' menu as above.
           

  • Even if the USPS Validated Address does not register the entered address, the original address can still be used. Not all addresses may be USPS Validated. Not validating the address does not have any consequences from the perspective of Accu-Trax.
