Customer Calendar

A tool that generates a customer-ready Collection Schedule for the selected year.

  • Customer Calendar can be generated using a manual selection, automatic selection, or a custom selection.
  • Each selection has pros and cons which should be considered if a Customer Calendar is something companies intend to use.
  • For all Calendar selections, identify a year and service address to populate the calendar for.
  • Once a Calendar has been created, it can be printed, saved, exported, or emailed.

Manual

Manual calendar can produce one service item and populate its schedule.

  • The manual calendar will only display one service item per calendar.
  • This can be helpful if a customer wants to distinguish a garbage schedule and a recycling schedule.
    • However, this would require sending multiple calendars for each service item.

Automatic

Automatic calendar will pull any scheduled service items on a service address.

  • Automatic calendars cannot be adjusted for their services. However, due to its ease of use, it is the most frequently chosen Calendar option.
  • All service items with a schedule will be displayed on the same Calendar.
    • Most services that vary in material will still be picked up on the same day. Therefore, a Key is provided to explain some of the hybrid icons. Below is an example of a customer that receives Garbage pickup twice per week, Recycling twice per month on the Thursday route, and Yard once per month on the Monday route.

Custom

Custom Calendar allows full customization of the entire calendar year.

  • Single Item Calendar will only display a schedule for one item.
  • Unlike the Manual Calendar, users can pick each date of service, even off the regular schedule.
    • However, unlike Automatic or Multi Item, only one item (Garbage, Recycle, Yard) can be chosen per calendar.

  • Multi Item Calendar is the most comprehensive and customizable Calendar option.
  • Users can easily create scheduled items under each tab 'Garbage', 'Recycle', and 'Yard'.
  • The only downside to this option is that it requires manually entering each day, week, and month for each service. This may be time consuming for large companies or service addresses.
