Customer List

A powerful sorting menu used to assist with filtering customer accounts for reporting purposes.

  • This list is most commonly used with Delinquent Reports, Mail Merge, and Recurring Bill Comments.
  • To use the Customer List:
    1. Make the appropriate selections in each of the tabs along the left of the top half of the window. Any tab that has no selections will not apply any filters. (Also see Save/Load Tab)
    2. Click 'Search' to find all customers that meet your criteria.
    3. All found customers will be displayed in the lower half of the window, with the total number of selected records showing in the lower-left. Verify that the list looks correct.
    4. Click 'Submit' to move forward with the selected list of customers.

Bill Code Tab

Select all customers whose Bill Code matches one of the desired selections.

Status Tab

Select all customers whose Status matches one of the desired selections, at any time during the date range selected by the Status Range.



Service Area Tab

Select customers that have a current Service Address within the selected Service Areas. 

  • Customers with stopped Service Addresses will not be selected.
  • Boxes corresponding with the Green Checkmark will include any results using the selected filter. Boxes corresponding with the Red X will exclude any results using the selected filter. 


Service Item Tab

This tab will select all customers that are currently receiving the selected Service Items.

  • This tab is blank until a selection is made on the Service Area Tab. Once at least one Service Area is selected, all Service Items from the selected Service Areas will be listed on this Tab.
  • Select 'Refresh' to reload Service Items if the Service Areas have been changed or to load all Service Items for all Service Areas if no Service Areas were selected.
  • Boxes corresponding with the Green Checkmark will include any results using the selected filter. Boxes corresponding with the Red X will exclude any results using the selected filter.


Routes Tab

Select all customers that are currently receiving service on any of the selected Routes.

  • Boxes corresponding with the Green Checkmark will include any results using the selected filter. Boxes corresponding with the Red X will exclude any results using the selected filter.


Tags Tab

Select all customers that have any of the selected Tags that are currently active. 

  • Customers with inactive Tags will not be selected.
  • Boxes corresponding with the Green Checkmark will include any results using the selected filter. Boxes corresponding with the Red X will exclude any results using the selected filter.


Customer Types

Select all customers that are assigned a Customer Type, such as Residential, Commercial, or other service distinctions.

  • Click 'Exclude Selected Customer Types' to search all Customer Types except the selected boxes.


Subdivisions

Select all customers that are assigned to a Subdivision, if applicable.

  • Click 'Exclude Selected Subdivisions' to search all Subdivisions except the selected boxes.


Balance Tab

Select all customers whose Total Balance or Aging Bucket values fall within the parameters.

  • Total Balance: Selects all customers with a Total Balance between 'Min' and 'Max' (inclusive).
  • Bucket Amount: Selects all customers where the selected Aging Bucket value meets or exceeds the value in 'Amount.'
    • First click the 'Filter by Bucket Amount' checkbox to use this filter.


Name/Zip Tab

Select all customers whose Name and Zip Code both fall within the selected range. 

  • Leaving either field blank will not filter results by that field.

Dates Tab

Select all customers whose Start Date and Stop Date both fall within the selected range. 

  • First select 'Filter by Start Date' or 'Filter by Stop Date' to use this filter.

Account Number Tab

Select all customers with account numbers that are listed in the text box.

  • Each account number must be separated from others with a semicolon.
    • Do not include spaces between account numbers: This will cause the search to fail.

Order By Tab

This tab does not filter out customers. Instead, it controls the order in which results will be displayed.

  • Up to three sort orders may be selected. Ascending and Descending order behavior.



Save/Load Tab

This tab allows the user to save all of the filter tabs in their current configuration, or to load a saved configuration.

  • To save a layout, set all filter tabs to their desired configuration, enter a Layout Name into the 'Save Name' field, and click 'Save Layout'.
  • To load a saved layout, select the desired Layout in the dropdown box and click 'Load Layout'.
NOTE: By default, Layouts will only display in this list if they were created within this type of Customer List (i.e. Layouts created in Delinquent Report will only be displayed within the Delinquent Report's Customer List).
To display Layouts created in all types of Customer List, click the 'Show All Layouts' checkbox.
