Route Stops

Route Stops are automatically generated whenever a new Route is added to the customer's Service Address.

  • Route Stops can be managed and sequenced from the Route Manager in mass or individually by double clicking the Route Stop and selected the 'Edit Tab'.
  • Route Stops are generally associated with Service Items, and are often added along with the assignment of a new Service to the customer's account. However, they may be added prior to a Service, thus adding the customer to a Route without any active Service.
    • If a Route Stop is added to a Service Address by mistake, and no Services have ever been added to it, it is possible to remove the Stop from the Service Address.

1. Double-click the Route Stop to open the View Route Stop window.

2. Click the Edit Route Stop tab.

3. Select "Delete Route Stop".

If a Route Stop had Services added, but have since been stopped, the same process can be used to delete the Route Stop.

1. Highlight the desired Route Stop (Thursday 01) and the respective Services associated with that stop will also highlight in yellow (95G R/C EoW).

2. Double-click the Route Stop to open the View Route Stop window which will also display the associated items. If all associated items have '(Stopped)' prepended, this Route Stop may be removed.

3. Select the 'Edit' tab and 'Delete Route Stop' should be available. Selecting 'Delete Route Stop' will populate a warning message. Select 'Yes' to delete the stop.

NOTE: All Services associated with the desired Route Stop must be completely stopped before the Route Stop may be deleted. This means that the Stop Date has already passed and is indicated by the solid red square next to the Service Item. If the Service Item is only scheduled to stop, then the stop may not yet be deleted.
