How to Add a New Service

Adding a New Service 


1. Select New Services from the Service Address function tab:



2. Determine whether a New Service should is added from the list, a Service Template should be added, or if the Service should be Copied from the Service Address. Filter the search by selecting the empty box underneath the column and entering keywords or characters.



3. The selected Service will be moved to the Selected Service area of the screen:



4. Highlight the Service:



5. Set the Service Start Date.

6. Update the Quantity if desired.

This will also update the Rate to match the Quantity entered.
7. Select Add New Route if the Customer does not have the desired Route listed. Otherwise, select the existing Customer Routes option and skip to step 12. If the Service has a unique frequency, it may be necessary to select the Frequency option from the dropdown list that would appear above "Add New Route" (I.e., Even/Odd assignment). 

8. If Add New Route is selected, the New Route Stop window will open:



9. Select the Day and Route. 

If known, enter the Sequence #.

If the Day, Route, or Sequence # is not known, click the Map tab for a map of all addresses near that street. This will help guide the best selection.

10. Select Create when finished.

11. The Selected Route will display in the Customer Routes:
 


12. Double click on the desired Route to add to move it into the selected Service Routes.

If the Service Routes requires more than one Route is chosen (for Services that occur more than once per month), add and select additional Routes.


13. Save when finished.

14. A pop-up will ask if the prorated charges should be manually adjusted.
