Using Account Shortcuts

Account Shortcuts will quickly fill in common types of customer information that require often use and repetitive data when creating new accounts that fall into designated categories.

To Create an Account Shortcut

System Tools > Database Setup > Customer & Billing Data > Account Shortcuts.

Choose which fields to automatically fill in for new account creation . Once the shortcut is created a button will show up at the top of the "Add New Account" screen. In our example "RESI A-K".
Note about the "Account Prefix". This will prepend any number of alpha-numeric symbol to each account number that is generated by the system.
