Creating City Shortcuts

Using City Shortcuts

City Shortcuts will quickly fill in information like City, State Abbreviation, and Zip Codes for Addresses. This may help speed up data entry.

Setting up a City Shortcut 


1. System Tools > Database Setup > Customer & Billing Data > City Shortcuts .

2. Select 'New' at the bottom of the pop-up screen. 

3. Enter a Shortcut name.

4. Enter the City, State Abbreviation, and Zip.



5. 'Save'  

City Shortcut 

City Shortcuts will quickly fill in city information like City, State Abbreviation, and Zip Codes for Addresses.

When creating a new account enter the City Shortcut name into the City, State, and Zip field like below:



Hit 'enter' to automatically fill City, State, and Zip field.



NOTE: This will work anywhere in the system where you are entering the City, State, and Zip, such as adding a Service Address.
